This is definitely the case for Instafeet. Don’t jump on the platform bandwagon without reading this article first. Then if you still decide to give it a shot, you are not going into it blindly.

When you complete an internet search for Instafeet reviews, you will find multiple articles praising the platform and encouraging you to get started using this option today.

However, if you look at these articles extensively you will see they are all very similar and the author of each one did little research on their own to help you make a good business decision if Instafeet is a legitimate platform.

Instead, each author simply wrote the same thing as other authors indicating they did little, if any, research on their own. They simply used their own words but said the same thing (do a comparison and verify this for yourself!)

I did the work for you and thoroughly researched the Instafeet social platform, including reading the entire terms of service several times as well as the privacy policy, visited the majority of other pages on the website, and reviewed dozens of seller profiles (which was quite shocking for a platform supposedly marketing to women who want to sell their feet pics.)

Keep reading to get the details you need to make a decision if this platform is for you, or if you want to reconsider and find other marketing methods to sell feet pics.

This blog post will discuss the process of getting started with Instafeet, offer a deep-dive Instafeet review, and provide details on why you may want to hold off and use a different platform to make money selling feet pics online.

What is Instafeet

Instafeet is an internet platform designed to connect feet lovers on both the buying and selling sides. It claims to be revolutionizing the way people share and sell photos of their feet, and even claims to be “the original platform to buy and sell feet pics online” on its website home page.

Instafeet is a subscription-based service that connects feet buyers and sellers, with the aim to create a win-win situation for people looking to sell their feet pics and people wanting to buy feet images.

In other words, to be a member you must pay a fee whether you are a feet pic seller or a buyer (Instafeet calls sellers ‘creators’ and buyers ‘subscribers’.)

In contrast to many other platforms that bring buyers and sellers of feet pics together, Instafeet is a private platform where your feet pictures are only available to buyers who have paid to subscribe to your profile.

How Instafeet Works

A seller profile must be created to get started selling feet pics on the Instafeet platform.

Completing your user profile is part of the application process, then it is reviewed and if accepted, you can start selling your feet images. Buyers interested in your images can subscribe to your account and purchase the feet pictures you have uploaded.

However, even before your profile is approved, it is important to understand once you submit it for review it can be seen on the Instafeet website as a creator. It is unclear how long profiles remain in the Instafeet system if they are never approved.

Both buyers and sellers pay a monthly subscription fee to Instafeet.

Per the Instafeet Terms of Service under the ‘How It Works’ section (quoted exactly):

2. How It Works

2.1 Instafeet.com is a social media platform that lets you create a User profile, which in turn allows you to:

2.1.1 upload and post photos and videos for access by your Subscribers; and/or

2.1.2 subscribe to another User’s profile to view their otherwise restricted photos and videos.

2.2 The term “User” refers to all users, whether using the Website to earn money or to subscribe to others.

2.3 The term “User Content” means any and all media uploaded by Users.

Steps to Set Up Your Instafeet Account

The following steps will get you started with Instafeet. Keep in mind you will be required to have a valid photo ID to complete the application.

  1. Create a Profile

Complete the application for a creator’s account by filling out the sign-up form: You must provide your name, email address, location, and acceptance of their privacy policy.

2. Post Content

Once approved you can start selling feet photographs.

3. Set a Price

Preview what other creators (sellers) are charging for feet pics that are similar to yours. Keep your pricing in line with the going rate by using this strategy to set your foot pic prices.

4. Get Your Own Unique Link

When you are approved to start selling you will be given a unique link to share with friends and family, to share on your business social media platforms, etc. This link will take people to your profile page on the Instafeet website.

Keep in mind that potential buyers will have to pay the Instafeet buyer subscription price (set by you) to see your feet pictures.

5. Start Sharing

The more you share, the quicker you will make money selling pictures of your feet.

Instafeet Rules

One important (and often overlooked) rule is that all sellers on Instafeet must be at least 18 years old per their terms of service.

Before you apply to be a creator (seller) on Instafeet, these are the rules taken directly from their website:

Do

  • Moisturize your feet and toes
  • Get a pedicure/put color on
  • Remove any hairs, plucking is best
  • Submit both face and feet photos

Don’t

  • Register more than once
  • Upload blurry or stock photos
  • Submit only face or only feet photos
  • No pics with socks (ever)

Can Anyone Sell Feet Pics on Instafeet

According to the Instafeet Terms of Service, as long as you are 18 years of age or older you can create a profile and apply to be a creator.

However, creating a profile does not guarantee you will be accepted to Instafeet as a creator (seller), according to what they call their ‘additional information.’

The message sent to sellers on this topic is confusing and contradicting.

Many of the websites writing a review for Instafeet also state that the platform accepts only women as sellers. I could not find this stated anywhere on the Instafeet website; however, in viewing dozens of user profiles none of them were male.

Instafeet Red Flag for Concern

On their website, Instafeet states, “Instafeet allows anyone to connect with admirers of their feet and get paid for access to exclusive content.”

On April 10, 2020, Instafeet tweeted on Twitter, “Only 10% of creators get accepted so be sure to do your best #instafeet #registration”

Instafeet Tweet Stating Only 10% of Applicants are Accepted to Their Platform

This raises the question, “Can anyone really sell feet pics on Instafeet if they only approve 10% of the applications?”

How to Sell Feet Pics on Instafeet

To sell feet pics on Instafeet go to the website, in the top right corner hit the button that says ‘Sign Up’ and complete the requested information.

Once you have completed the application, you have to wait for the Instafeet staff to review your application. This can take several weeks per the information shared on their website, although many of the platform users report it taking longer or never being contacted at all even when their application was approved.

Instafeet states they do not contact applicants when an application is not approved to sell pictures of feet on their platform.

Our Most Popular Money-Making Offers

If you’re looking for a side hustle or just a way to make some extra spending money, there are numerous ways you can accomplish this. Here are a few quick and simple ideas for you (I personally use each of them!):

Is Instafeet Legit

The question ‘Is Instafeet legit’ is a common question and one that every person working to make money online selling feet pics should be asking before they start filling out the Instafeet application.

Instafeet is a legitimate platform in that you can set up a profile and apply to sell feet pics on their site.

Instafeet Red Flag for Concern

There are more than just a few complaints when reading Instafeet reviews online.

It is common to see reviews claiming that Instafeet does not respond to questions or customer inquiries, there are continual problems with slow-loading or accessing the website, and even reviews stating serious fraud claims.

In fact, positive reviews are near impossible to find. This is not a good feeling when you are about to turn over your ID to a business and rely on them to hold up their side of the deal in what should be treated as a business partnership.

You can read these Instafeet reviews on Trust Pilot [a direct link is at the bottom of the post.]

The following images are actual reviews on Trust Pilot, rating Instafeet.

The overall rating for Instafeet on Trust Pilot is the lowest possible.

Instafeet Red Flag for Concern

Also, in the Instafeet Terms of Service, it states, “Instafeet.com is operated by SiliconCamp.com”.

Instafeet terms of service operated by siliconcamp.com
Instafeet Website Terms of Service Stating the Platform is Operated by siliconcamp.com

When visiting the website siliconcamp.com there is a redirect to a website marketing page that displays the website is for sale.

siliconcamp.com domain for sale stated owner of instafeet
Advertisement for the Sale of Domain siliconcamp.com, the Stated Owner of Instafeet per their Terms of Service on Instafeet.com

While this does not indicate Instafeet is not a legitimate site, it raises a red flag on their credibility.

As a prior university professor and teacher of economics, in addition to being a private business owner and entrepreneur for many years, it makes little sense not to own the domain that houses the operational name of your business. In this case especially, because the domain URL is available for purchase, so why would you not own it?

Instafeet Red Flag for Concern

Another concern of Instafeet applicants is that the feet pictures they submit for the application process are used by Instafeet for their own good.

In fairness to Instafeet, they disclose this in their terms of service with the following verbiage in the About section (quoted exactly):

1.6.2 By signing up to Instafeet.com as a creator you give the site permission to use any photos of you to post to our own social media, this includes any photos you have submitted while registering.

And in the account registration section of the Instafeet Terms and Services agreement they state this:

3.8 You grant access to any photos you upload for our investors and vip programs with no compensation to you. This includes photos submitted during registration.

However, reviews completed by applicants indicate feeling like Instafeet receives the upload pictures that are required to complete their application, then they keep the photos with the intention of using them and no intention of ever considering them as a creator.

There is no evidence to warrant if this actually happens. However, it is relevant to point out in this honest and detailed Instafeet review so people that want to sell feet pics online are aware.

It is also important to note that with the acceptance rate of 10%, this seems to be an extremely low number.

Instafeet Red Flag for Concern

According to Instafeet users, the website is difficult to navigate, it is slow, and it returns numerous errors when trying to log in to their account.

I did not personally experience the same specific problems; however, I did get an error message on multiple occasions while navigating around the website. This does not necessarily indicate Instafeet.com is not a legitimate platform, but it does raise concern that the website is not being monitored.

Instafeet Red Flag for Concern

As I worked through the Instafeet.com website to gather valuable information for this Instafeet review, I couldn’t help but notice that the Instafeet.com website does not have a favicon.

Again, this does not necessarily indicate the website is not legit; however, it does raise the red flag if the site is being monitored and updated as needed.

It is rare for a professional website to display the WordPress Logo as their favicon rather than their own platform logo. The WordPress Logo is the default favicon because WordPress is the name of the platform the website is built on.

If you have never worked behind the scenes in building a website, you may not know what a favicon is.

Favicon is the short version of saying “favorites icon.” It is the miniature graphic image you see on the browser tab each time you open up a new tab with a website URL in it.

Is it Safe to Sell Feet Pics on Instafeet

It is a smart business move to ask yourself, “Is Instafeet safe to sell foot pics?” before you dive into working with them.

When you sell feet pictures online there are ways to keep yourself safe on all social media and marketing platforms, including Instafeet.

General guidelines to stay safe selling foot pictures:

  1. Keep your personal information to yourself – never share it publicly or privately
  2. Use pics of only feet – don’t include your face in the foot photos
  3. Don’t accept physical gift cards as payment
  4. Get paid before you release the images to the buyer

Additional tips for staying safe when you sell pictures to make money online:

  • Don’t use your real name on the profile
  • Create an email address to be used specifically for your business selling feet pics
  • Never share personal information with buyers such as your name, address, or phone number
  • Keep your personal money accounts (like a checking account) separate from your business account
  • Create anonymous social media accounts specifically for your foot pics (don’t use your real name) – never use your personal social media accounts

Does Instafeet Require Showing Your Face

Instafeet guidelines do not indicate they require you to show your face on your feet pictures submitted to the platform. In fact, all information on their website indicates it is not a requirement.

However, based on a Twitter tweet on April 10, 2020, they said, “Not showing your face will directly be a big disadvantage for you #instafeet #justsaying”

Bloggers that have written Instafeet reviews for their website and report that Instafeet does not allow pictures to ‘go above knee level’ have obviously not completed appropriate research.

Furthermore, in reviewing dozens of Instafeet seller profiles on the platform, the majority of them show faces or other parts of the body besides the feet for their profile photo.

When digging into the upload photos of many of the creators, a large number is not just their own feet but other body parts are included with the feet pics.

Instafeet Red Flag for Concern

Another factor indicating that Instafeet allows and possibly even promotes images that include other body parts with feet is that their website category page (the one that connects to the user profiles) has the following hashtags at the top of the page:

  • #Blonde
  • #Brunette
  • #Latina
  • #Asian
  • #European
  • #Legs
  • #Unique
  • #Classy
  • #Nudes
  • #Heels
  • #MiddleEastern
  • #Ebony
  • #Redhead
  • #College
  • #Fit
  • #Small
  • #White
  • #Curvy
  • #Teen
  • #HighArch
  • #Skinny
  • #Thick
  • #Natural
  • #Booty
  • #420
  • #Exotic
  • #Strip
  • #Tattoo
  • #Milf
  • #Fullbody

In my world hashtags such as #Booty, #Nudes, #Strip, #Fullbody, #420, and #Milf indicate images that include more than just feet or even photos from the knees down (as indicated incorrectly in most other websites Instafeet reviews.)

Instafeet Red Flag for Concern

On the Instafeet website in the footer of the home page, they claim that member profiles are under constant review.

instafeet claim profiles are consistently monitored
Instafeet Website Claim that Profiles are Consistently Monitored

With this in mind and if it is true that Instafeet monitors the profiles of their sellers, they support inappropriate images and videos.

The following are just a couple of examples out of many on the Instafeet website user profile page. I would not expect the descriptions of these users to appear on a platform connecting sellers and buyers of feet pics.

NOTE: I have blurred the user profile name, user’s handle, and inappropriate words from the following Instafeet profiles taken directly from the Instafeet website user profile page.

Is Selling Feet Pictures Legal on Instafeet

It is legal to sell pictures of your feet on Instafeet as long as you live in a country that allows it.

Developed countries such as the United States, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia are examples of places that are legal.

Check the laws in your country before you jump into being a foot model to make sure it is legal where you live.

How Do You Get Approved for Instafeet

The Instafeet Terms of Service and Privacy Policy do not give a specific formula that is used to approve creators to sell feet images on their platform.

Once you submit the creator application, I recommend giving them a couple of weeks to respond before contacting them.

How to Price Your Feet Pictures on Instafeet

The best way to figure out what to charge for feet pictures is to compare your images with the feet pics of other creators on Instafeet and price them similarly or slightly better.

Your goal is to give buyers a reason to view your feet pics, make a purchase from you, then grow them into returning clients.

If your pricing is fair and comparable to others, they have a reason to check out your foot photos.

On the other hand, if your initial pricing is higher than other foot model prices on the platform, it is likely you will struggle to get your first buyers.

On the Instafoot platform, the subscription model requires creators to set the monthly price for subscribers to access their premium content.

Who Buys Feet Pics on Instafeet

There is a vast market of buyers waiting to buy your feet pictures from stock photo sites to feet lovers.

The following list will get you started brainstorming the best buyers to target for your feet and toe pics:

  • Stock photography sites
  • Painters
  • Sculptors
  • Foot modeling agencies
  • Production companies
  • Shoe companies
  • Podiatry websites
  • People with a foot fetish or obsession

How Much Do You Make on Instafeet

Instafeet earnings can vary from one creator to the next because there are so many variables that play a role in making money by selling feet pics.

Your Instafeet income is no different in this regard when compared to other marketing platforms.

It is nearly impossible to determine a specific amount. However, like any business, the harder you work and the more you plan, the more cash you will make.

The Instafeet Terms and Services state the following in section 4 (exact quote):

4. Subscriptions, Purchases and Payment of Revenue

4.1 To access another User’s content on Instafeet, you must first add a payment card to your account and then click the ‘Subscribe’ button on that User’s profile. All purchases are final and non-refundable. However, you may cancel your subscription at any time by turning off the ‘Auto-Renew’ switch located under the relevant User profile or by contacting us at hello@Instafeet.com, which will allow you to access the User’s profile until the end of the existing billing period, where you will lose access to the content and not be re-billed.

4.2 If a User uploads content (an “Uploading User”) then, subject to that User complying with these Terms, that User is entitled to 90% of the revenue generated by other Users who subscribe to the uploading User’s content. Payment will be made by or on behalf of Instafeet.com to the uploading User.

How Do You Get Paid by Instafeet

On the Instafeet website FAQ page, they state, “We pay out every 1st and 15th.”

There is no indication of a specific method they use for payment; however, for subscribers to cancel a subscription on this same page it states, “You simply login to PayPal and cancel from that end it’s under All Tools there.”

This leads one to believe they prefer to work with PayPal and in that case, you would need to set up a PayPal account, preferably one for business, then share the information with Instafeet.

Can You Sell Hand or Other Pics on Instafeet

The main focus of Instafeet is to connect feet buyers and sellers.

For this reason and according to the Instafeet guidelines, you cannot sell hand pics or other body images on Instafeet.

However, based on reviewing dozens of creator profiles, Instafeet does allow you to include hand pictures (and other body parts) when they are included with your feet in the picture.

Instafeet Customer Support

Instafeet does not provide a contact phone number if you need to get in touch with them.

They use the email hello@instafeet.com as their support and customer service method of contact throughout their website.

Instafeet Social Media Handles

Instafeet has social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

However, they are not currently active on any of these platforms.

Instafeet Red Flag for Concern

The last post on Twitter was tweeted on April 10, 2020, which is also the month they joined this platform.

Their most recent post on Facebook was in February 2019, and on Instagram, there are a total of 9 posts with the last one being posted on January 6, 2020.

These dates indicate that Instafeet has removed itself from marketing through social media channels. This is quite odd for a business with visuals as their way of making money.

How much money can you make from selling feet pictures?

It is impossible to speculate how much money you will make when you start selling feet pics.

However, plenty of people have shared they make decent money and others have shared that they make even more money than other side hustles by earning a full-time income selling pictures of their feet.

There are too many variables to consider when calculating your income, such as how much you charge, how many buyers you are working with, how active you are on your social media and other platforms posting your feet pics, the professionalism of your pictures, etc.

Don’t make the mistake of believing the following myths about making money selling feet pics:

  • You must have attractive feet, pretty feet, or perfect feet to make money selling feet pics
  • You have to go through foot model agencies to make money
  • You have to take pictures of your own feet (hop to the post How to Sell Feet Pics Online for Cash to be sure you are legally compliant if you choose to take pictures of someone else’s feet)
  • You can only make money selling feet pics on a private platform

Keep an open mind, do your research (like reading this Instafeet review) before you get started, and you will likely be pleased with all the opportunities out there for people who sell feet pics.

Alternatives to Instafeet

There are plenty of platforms to choose from when you are ready to start selling feet pics online.

Creating a business profile on social media such as Facebook and Instagram is an excellent place to start.

Other platforms to sell your feet photos are Feetify, Feet finder, Dollarfeet, and OnlyFans. As a reminder, complete thorough research on each platform before signing on with them.

Another option is to start your own blog that includes feet content. This sets up the perfect place to sell feet pics for free since there are no commission fees when you are selling on your own website.

Not everyone that tries selling feet pics to make money online will like it.

However, if it is something you have considered, there is a large market for feet photographs and it is definitely worth trying. It’s a simple process that takes little money to get started since most people already have the equipment it takes to get started.

If you aren’t tech-savvy that’s also okay.

You can watch videos to learn how to do practically anything online (including how to take feet photos) and once you decide on the online platform to use for selling feet pics, it is just a matter of uploading pictures and getting them out to the thousands of buyers searching for foot pictures to use in their projects.

Once you start making money selling foot pics, have a solid budgeting strategy in place so you can use the extra cash wisely to build a strong financial future.
